Job Description:   This position is located in the Communications and Administrative Services Section of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Prevention and Control (IDEPC) Division.

This position exists to strategically plan and design statewide communications for the IDEPC Division with a particular focus on Web content management, information layout, and graphics. This includes identifying key audiences and collaborators, analyzing issues, working with interdisciplinary teams, and shaping programs, policies, and messages to be conveyed by the department on these subjects. This position acts as the lead Web content manager/coordinator of the Division's websites by coordinating Web publishing, providing assistance on Web page layout, managing Web content on the external and internal website, and, producing, and maintaining Web pages and designing related materials and visual communication pieces, including graphics. This position represents the Division on web-related committees and leads the intra-Division Web workgroup.
Minimum Qualifications:   Three (3) years of advanced professional public health experience managing or administering a health program with responsibility for administration; grant management; coordination of services; community organization including staffing of external task forces; program or research project management; health education and promotion; providing training and technical assistance to health programs; interpretation of policies and procedures and federal and state regulations; or lead work direction to other health professionals.

A Master's degree in Public Health or related field will count as one (1) year of advanced professional public health experience OR a Bachelor's degree will equal six (6) months.
